I don't take a poltiical stance online (or at least I try), but I will say that I hope whoever wins does an effective job! <3
I will also state, for the longest tie in the 1930's, psychologist categorized broadly until became the science of sociology. On a personal level, college level sociology changed my worldview.
I wonder, deep down, had Crowley not grown up in a broken family, would the outcome be the same? It sounded like his actions were highly stylized for the era, ie "not gonna get me, coppers" with the added salt of sending such a message in punishing all he deemed morally inept with guilt (such as his statements to Billie, Helen or "coppers") if he would have been different person, perhaps even impactful with all his charisma?
Chaira/Catherine's story both inspires deep sadness, but also joy that she was able to escape stigma and shame.
